Job Description

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Media Insights / Platforms Project Manager. This person will develop the existing social & owned insights platform and be in charge of our social media tools in Europe. The ideal candidate has strong experience with social media analytics and a solid background in project management.

Responsibilities

Create and Evolve our Social & Owned Insights Platform

  • Support game franchises and Digital Marketing and Media teams by providing social media intelligence (combination of tools & expertise).
  • Manage the entire project Social & Own Insights Platforms and relationship with the external agencies, our business intelligence and information technology teams.
  • Create and deliver our social media set of reports and help to define appropriate report templates.
  • Help aggregate, organize, and visualize data through analytics dashboards, using specialized tools like Tableau.
  • Partner with external vendors for additional insights & reporting.

Manage our social platforms & tools

  • Manage the social media platform back office and our social media tools suite.
  • Initiate at a cross franchise level, social platforms set up & optimizations in collaboration with the social media relations manager.

Manage social platforms related projects

  • Manage the social platform side of specific projects focusing on innovations & insights in coordination with the franchise teams, the social media relations manager and external vendors.

Requirements

Create and Evolve our Social & Owned Insights Platform

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in creating and delivering social insights and listening analytics for an enterprise organization
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to assimilate extensive amounts of detailed data and to see the big picture
  • Demonstrated experience translating data to insights and the ability to recognize trends and opportunities for the business
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite and core database tools as well as specialized visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Excellent knowledge of search engines and social media optimization

Manage our Social Platforms & tools

  • Proficient in administrating social platforms and tools at an enterprise level (50+ users) such as Hoot Suite or Sprinklr
  • Strong ability to stay up to date with all the latest trends and developments across digital marketing with an emphasis on social media tools & platforms

Manage Social Platforms oriented Projects

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Proven experience building business cases and establishing clear project vision
  • Able to work with a wide variety of teams throughout design, engineering, marketing and public relations
  • A passion for organization and planning
