Working with the marketing team, the intern will serve as community manager, responsible for the company pages across different social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest), complete data analysis, as well as headlining company relations with online referral channels including relevant bloggers, writers, and journalists in the theatre and travel sectors.

GENERAL PRESENTATION OF THE INTERNSHIP is an award-winning French start-up company, serving as the only online ticketing platform in English bringing French theatre productions to international audiences. From classic plays and comedies with state-of-the-art subtitling technology, to musicals or magical performances, we are the only company offering French shows with no language barrier. We have been opening the doors of Parisian theatres for 5 years, and have welcomed guests of more than 60 nationalities and counting.

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual interested in developing our international community of theatre-goers, both through social media platforms and media partnerships. The Theatre in Paris community includes 11K international theatre-buffs and growing. This 6 month internship is an opportunity to work for a quickly growing start-up in central Paris with a highly driven international team where you can grow a variety of skill sets.


As an intern, you will:

Manage both paid and unpaid publications across our social media channels, monitor performance across our social media platforms, primarily Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest, in order to grow our community and generate sales
Work in collaboration with the content manager to define the priorities on the publication calendar
Grow our communication and online brand awareness through referral websites (partners, bloggers, media) and influencers
Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with media partners, and identify additional outlets and potential referral sources
Analyse marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization


Essential :

Current student in digital marketing, communication or related field
Language: native English required – good level of French desired
Previous experience managing social media accounts and paid campaigns
Previous experience in public relations working with influencers, bloggers, journalists, etc
Creative with a hands-on approach
Up-to-date with the latest social media and communication best practises and tools
Proficient with Facebook and Instagram (including Ads)
Familiar with Google Analytics
Ability to work autonomously
Analytics oriented mindset
Team participation skills and willingness to work hard, learn and train

Desirable :

Knowledge of Paris and French culture
revious experience in the tourism and/or ticketing industry would be a plus
Previous experience writing press releases and building meaningful influencer relationships
Familiar with community management best practices
